Absolutely not. Wilt would still be a premiere player in the game, but there are too many other talented big men in the game today for him to dominate in a similar fashion as he did when there were few 7-footers.

I think you're spot on. It amuses me when people claim Wilt could have dominated today's game. Now, had he grown up in today's era where he could have advantaged today's training, physical development techniques, modern vitamins, etc... he was certainly enough of a natural athlete to become a dominant player. But, the game has evolved so much and the NBA wasn't as big of deal as it is today. Players back then weren't paid a fraction of what they're paid now, and that has nothing to do with the increased value of a dollar. Players back then were riding busses, not living the life of luxury...at least not by today's NBA player standards.
I will say that if Wilt's boast of sleeping with over ten thousand women is true, it does sound like he was enjoying himself, but that's another discussion altogether.
