I think Shaq is mostly misunderstood when he makes comments about other players. He's just playing the mental game. Or, maybe he's just trying to take some of the focus off of the mediocre defending champs.

As far as Kobe goes, he took the first shot ( as he usually does) at Shaq a long time ago.

I've always been a Shaq fan. He has fun with his bad movies and CD's and he doesn't take himself seriously. He should keep his mouth shut more often but there are alot bigger issues in the NBA than Shaq's mouth.

The problem is Shaq may not take himself seriously, but others do. You can't make jokes about someone's culture and then say you're just kidding.

I guess I would just like to see a little more Michael Jordan in Shaq.
