NBA Fantasy Basketball Rankings

So, not every great NBA player gets a high ranking on this list. Even though Carmelo Anthony and Ben Wallace make our Top 10 NBA Players list, their lack of all-around fantasy statistics hurts them here.

This is our initial 2006-2007 ranking of the top 50 fantasy basketball players. Check in weekly, as the list will change throughout the NBA season.

1. LeBron James, SF -- Best all-around player on Earth
2. Dwayne Wade, PG/SG -- Size and strength place him a step below LeBron
3. Kevin Garnett, PF -- Big man who can do everything
4. Kobe Bryant, SG -- More of a scorer now, but still a great fantasy player
5. Gilbert Arenas, PG -- Emerging as one of the league's best in most categories
6. Dirk Nowitzki, PF -- Not just a gunner anymore
7. Shawn Marion, SF/PF -- Big guy who can play inside and out
8. Tracy McGrady, SG/SF -- If he's 100 percent healthy, watch out
9. Yao Ming, C -- Finally showing people outside of China what he can do
10. Tim Duncan, PF/C -- Aging, but still one of the best scorers and rebounders
11. Allen Iverson, PG -- We hate him as a person, but you have to love him as a fantasy player
12. Amare Stoudamire, PF/C -- See McGrady
13. Elton Brand, PF -- Scores, rebounds, blocks shots
14. Andrei Kirilenko, SF -- Tremendous shooter and scorer
15. Paul Pierce, SG/SF -- Ditto
16. Ben Wallace, PF/C -- Just a defensive machine; lack of scoring will hurt you
17. Jermaine O'Neal, PF/C -- Needs help from his supporting cast
18. Brad Miller, C -- Great shooter for a big man
19. Ray Allen, SG -- One of the best pure shooters on the list
20. Jason Kidd, PG -- Won't get huge points, but he'll get assists, rebounds and steals
21. Lamar Odom, SF/PF -- Fast becoming a triple-double machine
22. Vince Carter, SG/SF -- Streaky but scary good
23. Peja Stojakovic, SF -- Can light you up from the outside
24. Baron Davis, PG -- Great point guards put up numbers
25. Mike Bibby, PG -- Good shooter and passer
